ASTM D1160 Touch Screen Automatic Reduced Pressure Vacuum Distillation Tester
Purpose and scope:
This test method is used for the determination of the distillation characteristics of petroleum products, biodiesel, and fractions that may decompose if distilled at atmospheric pressure. This test method covers the determination, at reduced pressures, of the range of boiling points for petroleum products and biodiesel that can be partially or completely vaporized at a maximum liquid temperature of 400 °C. Both a manual method and an automatic method are specified.
The boiling range is directly related to viscosity, vapor pressure, heating value, average molecular weight, and many other chemical, physical, and mechanical properties. Any of these properties can be the determining factor in the suitability of the product in its intended application.

Main structure and functions:
⑴Vacuum pump: built-in vacuum pump
⑵Cooling fan: located next to the heating furnace, automatically opens to cool the heating furnace after test
⑶Oil temperature sensor: used for measuring the temperature of oil sample in the distillation flask
⑷Distillation column assembly: vacuum jacket distillation column assembly for experimental distillation
⑸Oil vapor temperature sensor: plug the sealant into the top of the distillation flask to detect the temperature of the oil vapor
⑹Cold trap: built-in, semiconductor-cooled hydrazine
⑺Collection bottle of the cold hydrazine residue: used to collect the residual liquid of cold hydrazine, the liquid can be taken out and weighed for further analysis
⑻LCD touch screen: 10.1 inch LCD color touch screen, man-machine interface
⑼Power switch: the main power switch, long press 5 seconds, the instrument will connect to the working power
⑽Sketch map: each interface function is shown on the right panel
⑾Distillation flask: 500ml heat resistant distillation flask, put sample inside and put it on the heating furnace
⑿Heating furnace: electric heating furnace, used for heating sample, the heating power can be adjusted on the screen with an accuracy of 0.5%
⒀Heating furnace lifting platform: up, down or stop is controlled by the button on the screen, with the limit protection
⒁Receptor lamp: installed under the receptor, easy to read the distillation volume
⒂Receptor: 200ml receptor, the drop chain is hanged inside to receive the distillate
⒃Clamp of the receptor: used to clip the receptor
⒄Window of the water level: show the water level in the tank. Before the system working, add the water to the red mark at least, otherwise the water circulation system will not work properly.
