There are two kinds of flash point testing Equipments. One is designed and made as per ASTM D92 Cleveland Open Cup Flash Point Tester; The other is designed and made as per ASTM D93 Pensky-Martens Closed Cup Flash Point Tester.
Cleveland Open Cup Flash Point Tester: This instrument is designed and made as per ASTM D92 standard test method for flash point and fire points tester. It is used to all petroleum products with flash points above 79~400 ℃ except fuel oils.
2. Pensky-Martens Closed Cup Flash Point Tester is designed and made as per ASTM D93 Standard test method. It is usually used to test the flash point of Volatile petroleum products， like Gasoline, Jet fuel, Koresene, diesel, gas turbine liquid, solvent oil, lubricating oil, insulating oil, fuel oil, petroleum wax, eletric oil, biodiesel, etc.
Our GD-5208 is designed and made as per ISO1523 and ISO3679. It is low temperature tester(-30~50℃). Usually It is used to test the colored paints, oil paints, adhesives, solvents and petroleum products.
