Instrument characteristics
The instrument adopts colored LCD screen, man machine conversation interface, and blank buttons. It can preset expected temperature, sample ID, barometric pressure, test date and other parameters. It has menu prompts and input guide.
It can simulate and show temperature-time curve. It has prompt function to modify operation error. It also has prompt function for test data, test time and other parameters.
It can correct the effect of barometric pressure to test and calculate the modified value.
Differential detection; the system error can be automatically modified.
It can complete flame application, flash detection, and data printing automatically. The test arm can be raised up and lowered down automatically.

Working principle
Fill sample in the test cup and put the test cup on the heater to heat the sample. The flash point of the sample is the lowest liquid temperature at which application of the test flame causes the mixture of the sample vapors and air around the sample to appear flash at the conditions stipulated in the National Standard GB/T3536.
To determine the fire point, the test is continued until the application of the test flame causes the sample to ignite and sustain burning for a minimum of 5 s
The instrument adopts SCM and electric circuit to form the signal collection, processing, output, and controlling system. The CPU will send orders to control the heater as per the temperature changes collected by the temperature sensor during working procedures, so that the sample temperature increases at a certain speed. The flame application interval, flame application time, and flash detection can be automatically controlled.
Operation system will stop data-collection after the instrument detect the flash point automatically, and the flash point temperature will be locked on the LCD and printed out. If you need to determine the fire point, continue to heat the sample, the coverplate will rotate out automatically to cover sample cup for flameout after determining the fire point and sustain burning for a minimum of 5 s, then the test arm is automatically raised up, the test ends.
