Introduction:
1.This product is used to determine the viscosity of lubricating oil, which is applicable to ASTM D5481 and SH/T 0703-2001 Standard Test Method for Meaning Apparent Viscosity at High-temperature and High-shear Rate by Multicell Capillary Viscometer.
2.GD-H1706 High-temperature and High-shear Viscosity Tester is used in conjunction with the viscosity calculator Calcule. The tester measures the outflow time and experimental pressure during the experiment of the sample,and provides data for the calculator. The calculator is used to calculate the viscosity of the sample and calibrate the data.
3.After strict calibration, the viscometer cell has good repeatability and reproducibility, meeting the accuracy requirements of ASTM D5481 and SH/T 0703 standards.
Test Principle:
The test principle is to make the sample flow out from the capillary viscometer under the pressure of nitrogen (carbon dioxide) under the test condition of 150°C. By the outflow time and pressure of the sample, the apparent shear rate of capillary viscometer can be obtained to a certain apparent viscosity, with the viscosity of the oil corresponding to the measured pressure for the curve corrected with each viscometer cell.
Basic Functions:
1)Power
After the instrument is powered on, the exhaust fan starts to work, and the touch screen starts to display.
2)Heating
The heating part of the instrument is a metal bath made of aluminum alloy, which is heated by a heating rod, and the viscometer cell is installed in it.It takes about 30 minutes to heat the temperature from room temperature to 150 ℃, so it is necessary to turn on the instrument for heating before starting the experiment.
3)Pressure adjustment
After the nitrogen source is connected with the instrument, the instrument can be pressurized. There is a gas cylinder inside the instrument to provide pressure for the instrument during the experiment, and the external nitrogen source only supplies gas to the gas cylinder.
4)Start/stop experiment
In the normal experiment process, click [start / stop experiment] to start the experiment. The experiment is carried out automatically. Under normal circumstances, the experiment will stop automatically, and there is no need to end it manually.
5)Timing
Clicking the constant temperature timer will start a 15min timer to indicate the heating time.
6)Setting
Click [Set] button to switch to the setting page. Click the input box, the user can enter the operator and sample ID on the right side of the page, in order to distinguish in the result query.
7)Results query
This instrument can record the results of the experiments made by users, and the number of records is more than 30,000.
