ASTM D2440 Oxidation Stability Test Apparatus of Mineral Insulating Oil
Significance and Scope:
The oxidation stability test of mineral transformer oils is a method for assessing the amount of sludge and acid products formed in a transformer oil when the oil is tested under prescribed conditions. Good oxidation stability is necessary in order to maximize the service life of the oil by minimizing the formation of sludge and acid.
This test method determines the resistance of mineral transformer oils to oxidation under prescribed accelerated aging conditions. Oxidation stability is measured by the propensity of oils to form sludge and acid products during oxidation. This test method is applicable to new oils, both uninhibited and inhibited.
Characteristic:
1.Insulating Oil Oxidation Stability Test Set is desktop type,equipped with heating bath and precise flow meter.Sample bottle can in holes on stainless steel cover.
2. The structure is stainless steel with ceramic coating.
3. Heated by environment friendly metal bath,which can reduce harm of lampbalck to human body.It has high effect of thermal insulation.
4. Heater is stainless steel.
5. Precise flow meter has needle valve,the range is 0~120ml/min.
6. Air filter has glass wool.
7. Air purification system includes one sodium hydroxide bottle,one sulphuric acid washing bottle and one safe bottle.
8. Mic-processed thermostat and PID controller,temperature is displayed digitally,accuracy 0.1℃,Pt100 RTD temperature sensor.
9. Insulating Oil Oxidation Stability Test Set has safety device to avoid over-heat or low liquid level.
