GD-H1612 ASTM D3427 IP 313 ARV Air Release Value Apparatus
Significance:
Air release is very important for hydraulic oil, because air in hydraulic oil has many hazards: increasing the compressibility of hydraulic oil, compression will increase the oil temperature, shorten the service life of hydraulic oil, and cause cavitation damage to hydraulic pumps. Therefore, the hydraulic oil should have good air release properties, so that the air bubbles in the hydraulic oil can quickly escape and discharge in the oil tank, so as to prevent the air bubbles from continuing to circulate with the hydraulic oil.
Introduction:
The Air Release Value Apparatus is suitable for testing the ability of lubricating oil to separate mist air, such as gas turbine oil, hydraulic oil and other petroleum products. When using the instrument, the sample is heated to a certain temperature, and the sample is vigorously stirred by blowing excess compressed air into the sample, and the air forms small bubbles in the sample, that is, mist air. Record the time when the volume of mist air in the sample decreases to 0.2% after the gas is stopped.
