ASTM D6278 Polymer-containing Fluids Shear Stability Tester
Introduction:
The Shear Stability Tester is a new high-tech product developed by German technology, replacing imported instruments, all major components are purchased directly from Germany. It is suitable for shear stability determination of polymer-containing oils. The Shear Stability Tester consists of Bosch double piston jet pump and spray chamber with nozzle and nozzle holder. The polymer-containing oil passes through the nozzle of the diesel nozzle shear stability tester at a certain shear rate to promote the depolymerization of the polymer molecules with poor shear stability, and reduce the kinematic viscosity of the sample to report the sample. The percent drop in kinematic viscosity at the initial 100 °C is used to measure the shear stability of the polymer-containing oil.

1. The Shear Stability Tester adopts the original German Bosch jet pump with nozzle and spray chamber.
2. A Bowie axial nozzle injector with a filter cartridge in the nozzle holder.
3. The spherical cooler has a cooling jacket to allow heat to pass through the wall surface.
