GD-0609 Bitumen Oven Loss on Heat TFOT Thin Film Oven
Introduction:
The TFOT Thin Film Oven is designed and made as per T0609-1993 Thin Film Oven Test in the industrial standard of People’s Republic of China JTG E20-2011 Specification and Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering, ASTM D1754 Standard Test Method for Effect of Heat and Air on Asphaltic Materials (Thin-Film Oven Test). The TFOT Thin Film Oven is suitable to test the quality loss after heating the road asphalt film. And also test the change of needle penetration, softening point, breaking point and ductility for asphalt residue as need to evaluate the aging resistance property of asphalt.
Features:
1.There is a glass window equipped in the center of the TFOT Thin Film Oven. And the illuminating lamp is installed in the working chamber, and the thermometer reading in the working chamber can be observed during the measurement.
2.The heating device is installed at the bottom of the studio, and the air is heated by natural air convection, and the studio is evenly heated through the upper, lower and back air ducts.
3.The center of the working chamber is equipped with a turntable that can place 4 asphalt sample pans. It is driven by a motor and rotates at a speed of 5.5 revolutions per minute.
4.The temperature is controlled by intelligent instrument to ensure that 163℃±0.5℃ is met the requirements of the test procedures.
