Thin Film Oven Test Apparatus ASTM D1754
Function:
Rolling Thin Film Oven (RTFO) Test measures the effect of heat and air on a moving film of hot mix asphalt binder, simulating short-term aging that occurs during production and paving operations.
Structure:
The instrument consists of an oven working room, a turntable rotating mechanism, and an electrical control part. Four sample containers can be placed on the turntable at the same time. The indoor temperature is automatically controlled by a digital display temperature controller.
Performance characteristics:
1. There is a high -precision temperature sensor in the interior. The temperature in working room is controlled by the "blurred PID" temperature controller. Compared with the traditional PID control method, it has a smaller temperature adjustment, faster stable time , better temperature control accuracy and other advantages.
2. The main body is sprayed with plastic, and the interior of the working room is stainless steel, which is beautiful and generous.
3. The heating device is a flat -paving electric heating wire, no light fire, uniform distribution, and the complete control of heating elements ensure high -speed response, and the loss of heat transmission and radiation is very low. At the same time, heated evenly through the upper and lower air ducts.
4. The left side of the oven is the electrical control part, and the transmission motor ensures that the turntable speed is 5.5 ± 1r/min.
