Softening Point of Asphat:
Under prescribed conditions (steel ball on the metal ring inside the asphalt sample), due to the heating temperature of asphalt sample drop 25.4 mm (℃) asphalt heating from solid state to have ability to flow when the temperature of the reflect asphalt the ability of resistance to deformation, high softening point indicates that petroleum asphalt has good heat resistance and high asphaltene content, good colloid structure, and high softening point.
The automatic softening point ring and ball apparatus is designed and made refer to ASTM D36, GOST 33142, widely applied to the determination of softening point of road asphalt, coal asphalt and liquid petroleum asphalt.
Key Features:
1. The automatic softening point ring and ball apparatus adopts microcomputer control, automatic mixing, linear heating, automatic detection of test results, test results are automatically displayed and printed.
2. The beaker is made of high temperature resistant glass, and the size of the steel ball positioning ring and the steel ball meet the requirements stipulated in the standard.
3. The ring and ball device is a small desktop structure, liquid crystal display, touch keyboard control, can test two samples at the same time.
4. With RS-232C computer communication interface which can realize the communication between the computer.
