Copper Strip Corrosion Tester
The copper strip corrosion tester is designed and made as per the National Standard of People’s Republic of China GB/T 5096 “Test Methods for Detection of Copper Corrosion from Petroleum Products by the Copper Strip Tarnish Test”. It is suitable to determine the corrosiveness to copper of aviation gasoline, aviation turbine fuels, automotive gasoline, tractor fuels, washing solvent, kerosene distillate, lubricating oil, and other petroleum products. The instrument has functions of temperature controlling, automatic timing and alarming.
Working condition:
1. The instrument should be placed on a flat and stable workbench.
2. The test bomb containing natural gasoline and other sample of high vapor pressure should not be placed in a water bath of 100 ℃.
3. There is some combustible materials involved during test, so there should be no flame (or device can bring spark) near the instrument.
4. The power supply should be fine grounded.
Features:
1. Using a liquid crystal display temperature controller, heater, and electric stirrer to form a constant temperature bath, the temperature inside the bath is uniform; The temperature controller also has a timing function, which is used for time control setting and automatic timing during sample testing, and will also give an alarm prompt at that time.
