Fuel Oil Total Sediment Tester
The fuel oil total sediment tester accurately quantifies the content of insoluble impurities in oil products through four steps: high-temperature aging, vacuum filtration, solvent cleaning, and drying weighing. The total sediment tester is widely used in scenarios such as ship shipping, power boilers, and incoming material quality inspection in refineries, which directly affect combustion efficiency, nozzle blockage prevention, and long-term safe operation of equipment.
Working Principle:
Under specified conditions, the residual fuel oil sample of this instrument is aged at 100℃ for 24 hours. Then, the sample is filtered through the specified instrument at 100℃. The total sediment on the filter paper is washed with solvent and dried before being weighed. The determination should be repeated.
Used to measure 100 ℃ less than 55 square mm/SEC residual fuel oil viscosity and distillate fuel oil containing residual harmonic components of the total sediment. The maximum total sediment of residual fuel oil is 0.5% (m/m), and that of distillate fuel oil mixed with residual components is 0.40% (m/m).
