The lubricating oil high-temperature foam characteristic tester is a professional testing instrument that simulates the actual working condition by heating the lubricating oil to high temperature and injecting air to detect the foam tendency and foam stability of the lubricating oil at high temperature, and includes heating system, gas supply system and other structural parts.

Working principle:

Heat the lubricating oil sample to a specific high temperature, inject air into it at a certain rate to generate foam, and then evaluate the tendency and stability of foam under high temperature by observing and measuring the height, volume, generation and dissipation time and other parameters of foam.

 ASTM D6082 is a standard method used to test the high-temperature foam characteristics of lubricating oils, mainly measuring the foam characteristics of transmission fluid and engine oil at 150 ℃. The test process is as follows: first, heat the sample to 49 ℃ and keep it constant for 30 minutes, then cool it to room temperature, transfer it to the specified measuring cylinder and heat it to 150 ℃, then pass dry air into the metal diffusion head at the rate of 200ml/min for 5 minutes, and finally measure the amount of static foam, the amount of moving foam, the amount of static foam, the disappearance time of foam, and the percentage of total volume increase at the moment before stopping ventilation, and the amount of static foam at the specified time after stopping ventilation.
