Fluorescence Sulfur Analyzer
Fluorescence Sulfur Tester is a new generation of the most advanced analysis system for determining the sulfur content in solid, liquid and gas materials, which is developed by combining the principle of UV fluorescence and computer technology. The instrument adopts new electronic components designed micro-current amplifier and microcomputer-controlled data processing and novel closed-light system, which makes the instrument has the advantages of high sensitivity, low noise, wide linear range, strong anti-interference ability, as well as easy operation and stable performance. Widely used in petroleum, chemical, electric power, environmental protection and other related fields of scientific research units and production units, is currently the most advanced sulfur content analysis system.
Applicable media and industries:
| Sample | solid, gas, liquid |
| Scope of Application | The total sulfur content of paraffin oil, diesel, kerosene, gasoline, lubricating oil, fuel oil, liquefied gas and natural gas, as well as other oil products, chemical raw materials and finished products |
| Applicable Industries | Widely used in petroleum and petrochemical, biopharmaceutical, environmental protection, health, teaching, scientific research and other departments |
Working Principle:
At 1000°C, the sample is completely vaporised and undergoes oxidative cracking, the reaction products include CO2, H2O, SO2, and other oxidation products (hereafter denoted as MOX). Sulphides in the sample are quantitatively converted to SO2, and the reaction gas is carried by a carrier gas through a drying unit to remove water and enter the detection system.
⑴ R-S + O2 ————> CO2 + H2O + SO2 +MOX
SO2 is converted to SO2* in the excited state under UV fluorescence irradiation at a specific wavelength. From equation (2), photoelectrons are emitted when SO2* in the excited state jumps to the ground state, and the light signal is detected by a photomultiplier tube at a specific wavelength. Since the intensity of this fluorescence emission is proportional to the total sulphur content in the original sample, the total sulphur content in the sample is determined by measuring the intensity of the fluorescence emission.
⑵ SO2 + hγ,————> SO2*————> SO2 + hγ
When analysing a sample with this instrument, a standard curve is first made with a standard sample of sulphur, which is then used to analyse the sample to obtain the total sulphur content of the unknown sample.
Main Technical Indicators:
| PMT High Voltage Range | DC400V~700V (This can be set to the desired value by the operating system) |
| Measuring Range | 0.2mg/L ~ 10000mg/L |
| Temperature control range and accuracy | room temperature ~ 1100 ℃, ± 0.5 ℃ |
| Measurement method | Ultraviolet fluorescence method |
| Repeatability error | 0.2mg/L ≤ sample concentration <1.0mg/L, ≤±0.05mg/L 1.0mg/L ≤ sample concentration ≤ 100mg/L, Cv ≤ 5%. Cv≤3% when the concentration of 100mg/L≤10000mg/L. |
