The Rod Prep Chromatography Analyzer is an integrated system suitable for routine preparative analysis in analytical laboratories. The Rod Prep Chromatography Analyzer adopts a modular design, utilizing a precise and flexible robotic arm, a multi-functional sample selection system, corrosion-resistant multi-flow paths, and a high-flow metering pump. It enables rapid separation of various fractions in samples, reducing the single analysis time to 30 minutes and significantly improving sample processing efficiency.
Principle:
The Rod Prep Chromatography Analyzer processes samples—including crude oil, residue, wax oil, slurry oil, lubricating oil, tar, and bitumen—by first diluting them with a solvent and then quantitatively introducing them into a separation column. Through the sequential use of solvents with different polarities, the sample is separated into saturated hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, resins, and asphaltenes, which are eluted into collection containers. Each separated fraction is then applied to a designated position on a chromarod. The chromarods transport the samples through a detector at a constant speed for scanning. The resulting ion current signals are collected and processed by a computer, yielding the final analytical results.
