The low temperature kinematic viscosity tester that complies with the ASTM D445 international standard is a precision testing equipment specifically designed to determine the kinematic viscosity of oil products (including aviation kerosene, lubricants, etc.) in low-temperature environments. This device is based on ASTM D445 technology, using a refrigeration module to achieve high-precision temperature control, and is equipped with a high-resolution glass capillary viscometer or detection unit. By recording the time the sample flows through the capillary at a set temperature, its kinematic viscosity value can be calculated. Its application scope covers multiple fields such as petroleum refining, chemical production, scientific research, and quality inspection.

Working condition:

1. The low temperature kinematic viscosity tester should be placed on a flat and stable workbench.
2. The liquids measured are Newton liquids, so their viscosities are independent from the shear and shear rate.
3. Select different medium in the constant temperature bath for different temperature range. The difference between preset temperature and real test temperature should not be more than 30 ℃ during high temperature stage.
4. Select proper capillary for the sample measured under a certain temperature, so that the flow time in the capillary (Not the capillary of 0.4 mm) is less than 200 s, and the flow time is less than 350 s in the capillary of 0.4 mm.
