ASTM D113 Intelligent Asphalt Ductility Tester
The Intelligent asphalt ductility tester is designed and made as per national standard GB/T 4508 Standard Test Method for Ductility of Bitumen and T0602-2011 Asphalt Ductility Test in JTG E20-2011 in the Industrial Standard of People's Republic of China JTJ052 Specification and Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering. It is suitable to determine the distance to which it will elongate before breaking when two ends of a briquette specimen of the material are pulled apart at a specified speed and at a specified temperature.
Working principle:
The asphalt ductility tester is based on the principle of tensile testing. Make the pre treated asphalt sample into a specified shape (usually an "8" or dumbbell shape) and place it in the instrument's water tank, which can be maintained at a specific temperature (such as 25 ℃). After starting the instrument, stretch the asphalt sample at a certain speed (such as 5cm/min) through a mechanical device until the sample fractures. During the stretching process, the instrument accurately measures the stretching length of the asphalt sample, which is the elongation of the asphalt, usually measured in centimeters (cm).
Application area:
Road engineering: The asphalt ductility tester is used in the quality inspection and selection of road asphalt to determine the ductility of different grades of road asphalt. Through elongation testing, the crack resistance of asphalt under tensile conditions can be evaluated, thereby determining whether asphalt is suitable for road paving under different traffic flows and climatic conditions. For example, in the construction of high-grade highways, it is necessary to use asphalt with good ductility to ensure that the road surface will not easily crack when subjected to vehicle loads and temperature changes.
Quality control of asphalt production: Asphalt manufacturers use asphalt ductility testers to monitor the quality of asphalt products produced. During the production process, regular ductility tests are conducted on asphalt to ensure the stability of product quality. At the same time, adjust production process parameters based on test results, such as refining temperature of asphalt, use of additives, etc., to produce asphalt that meets quality standards.
Building waterproofing engineering: The asphalt ductility tester is used in the production and quality testing of building waterproofing materials (such as waterproofing membranes, waterproofing coatings, etc.) to evaluate the ductility of asphalt based materials. Appropriate ductility can ensure the flexibility and tensile resistance of waterproof materials during construction, preventing the failure of the waterproof layer due to the material being too hard or brittle.

The refrigeration system is made separately from the inside of the rack, the constant temperature water tank is made separately from the water tank, and there is no vibration during work.
Double circulation pumps are used to return the water to make the water temperature in the water tank more uniform;
the refrigeration system adopts imported compressor units, which has fast refrigeration and reliable performance.
