ASTM D445 Kinematic Viscometer
The ASTM D445 standard kinematic viscosity tester is an instrument specifically designed to measure the kinematic viscosity of liquids, especially petroleum products such as lubricants and fuel oils. Kinematic viscosity is a measure of the internal friction force of a liquid flowing under gravity, and is an important indicator for evaluating the fluidity, lubrication performance, and other properties of oil products. ASTM D445 is an internationally recognized standard method for measuring kinematic viscosity, and the design and operation of the instrument must strictly follow the requirements of this standard.
Working principle:
The mechanism of the kinematic viscometer: measure the time that a certain volume of liquid flows through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer under gravity at a constant temperature, the product of the capillary constant of the viscometer and the flow time is the kinematic viscosity of the liquid at this temperature.

1. Chromic Acid Cleaning Solution
5. Anhydrous Ethanol: used as a refrigeration medium.
