Operational Principle:
The target component in the sample undergoes conversion into titratable species within the pyrolysis tube. These species are carried by the carrier gas into the titration cell where they react with the titrant, altering its concentration. The measuring electrode responds to this concentration change by generating corresponding electrical potential signals, which modulate the potential difference between the reference and measuring electrode pairs. When this potential deviation deviates from the instrument's preset bias voltage, the resulting differential value serves as the input signal for the coulometric amplifier. After amplification, the output voltage is applied to the electrolysis electrode pairs in the cell. The anode continuously generates titrant to compensate for consumption until equilibrium concentration is achieved. The instrument measures the electrical energy consumed during electrolysis and calculates the target component's concentration using Faraday's law of electrolysis.
