Automatic Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter
Automatic oxygen bomb calorimeter is an automated instrument used to accurately measure the combustion heat (calorific value) of substances. It mainly collects temperature changes in real-time and calculates heat by completely burning the sample in a high-pressure oxygen environment. It is widely used in energy, chemical, environmental protection, scientific research and other fields. Its core advantage lies in the full process automation control, reducing manual intervention, and improving testing efficiency and accuracy.
Working principle:
Combustion reaction: Place the sample (solid or liquid) into a sealed oxygen bomb, fill it with high-pressure oxygen, ignite the sample completely through an electric ignition wire, and release heat.
Heat transfer: The heat generated by the combustion of the oxygen bomb calorimeter is transferred to the water in the inner cylinder, and the water temperature changes are monitored in real time through high-precision temperature sensors.
Automated calculation: The oxygen bomb calorimeter is equipped with a microprocessor or control system, which automatically calculates the heat generation of the sample based on parameters such as water temperature changes, water volume, and instrument thermal capacity, and deducts the heat contribution of accessories such as ignition wires.
International standards:
ASTM D240: Standard Test Method for Heat of Combustion of Liquid Hydrocarbon Fuels by Bomb Calorimeter
ASTM D5865: Standard Test Method for Gross Calorific Value of Coal and Coke
Features:
1. The oxygen bomb calorimeter uses semiconductor refrigeration, which can determine the cooling capacity based on the heat generation. The instrument automatically adjusts the water temperature to maintain a relatively constant temperature, enabling continuous long-term testing and ensuring accurate results.
2. Adopting advanced USB interface, plug and play, one computer can control multiple heat meters.
3. Equipped with an electronic measuring cup, it does not require manual weighing of water weight and automatically measures the water volume in the inner cylinder with a repeatability error of less than 0.4g.
4. The oxygen bomb calorimeter can automatically measure the resistance of the ignition wire and check whether the ignition wire is installed properly before testing.
5. Standardized pipeline design greatly shortens the pipeline, makes the pipeline more reasonable, and the experimental results more accurate.
6. The oxygen bomb calorimeter adopts a specially designed discharge water interface, making instrument drainage and water exchange more convenient and fast.
Main technical parameters:
Working power supply | AC 220V ± 10V/50Hz |
