Semi Automatic Cleveland Open-Cup
Flash Point Tester ASTM D92
Based on the Cleveland Open Cup method, the tested sample is poured into a specific Cleveland Open Cup and heated at a specified heating rate. As the temperature rises, the sample will continuously evaporate and produce steam. The instrument will automatically use an igniter to ignite above the cup mouth at certain temperature intervals. When the mixture of sample vapor and surrounding air reaches a certain concentration, it will flash instantly when encountering an ignition source, and the temperature recorded by the instrument at this time is the flash point of the sample.
