Automatic Aniline Point Tester
Automatic Aniline Point Tester is designed, developed and manufactured according to American Standard ASTM D611 “Standard Test Methods for Aniline Point and Mixed Aniline Point of Petroleum Products and Hydrocarbon Solvents - Test Method B”. It is suitable for the determination of the aniline point of petroleum products and hydrocarbon solvents, also for the determination of the mixed aniline point of petroleum products and hydrocarbon solvents having aniline points below the temperature at which aniline will crystallize from the aniline-sample mixture.
Working principle:
The principle of mutual solubility: Different petroleum products have different mutual solubility with aniline, and their degree of mutual solubility is closely related to temperature. When the temperature is low, petroleum products and aniline are layered. As the temperature increases, the solubility between the two gradually increases. When a certain temperature is reached, petroleum products and aniline completely dissolve into a homogeneous system, and this temperature is the aniline point. The fully automatic aniline point analyzer is based on precise measurement of this temperature change to determine the aniline point.
Detection method: Automatic Aniline Point Tester usually use photoelectric detection technology or other sensor technology to monitor changes in the state of the solution. For example, using photoelectric sensors to detect changes in optical properties such as transmittance or refractive index of a solution, when the solution changes from a layered state to a homogeneous state, its optical properties will undergo significant changes. The sensor captures this change and transmits the signal to the control system, which records the temperature at this time as the aniline point.
