Automated Houillon Viscometer
The automates houillon viscometer is an advanced fully automated analytical instrument specifically designed for rapid determination of oil kinematic viscosity. Developed and manufactured strictly in accordance with ASTM D7279 standard. This instrument can achieve fully automatic intelligent sampling, without the need for manual operation of the sampling process, which is very convenient; It can also perform testing fully automatically, and after the testing is completed, it can also be cleaned fully automatically to prepare for the next test. With it, as long as the task is set, it can be completely unmanned and independently complete the testing work. Basic principle: When fluid flows in a folded pipe, due to its viscosity, its flow in the pipe presents a laminar state. In this state, there is a specific relationship between the viscosity of the fluid and factors such as the time it flows in the pipeline and the pressure difference.
Specific operation: The Automated Houillon Viscometer drives a certain volume of the measured fluid through a bent tube with a specific geometric shape and size under gravity or pressure. In the process of fluid flow, the special design of the bend tube will cause the fluid to produce specific flow patterns and pressure distributions. The instrument measures the time it takes for the fluid to flow through a specific part of the bend, and combines known bend parameters and fluid density information to calculate the fluid's kinematic viscosity based on relevant formulas.
